KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. – Kings Mountain Police Department responded to a domestic dispute that resulted in one individual suffering a gunshot wound, according to a news release.
The release states that on Monday June 17 at 8:22 a.m., a domestic dispute call was responded to on Belcaro Drive that involved two individuals.
The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene first and determined one individual was transported to a local hospital due to suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The injury is non-life-threatening.
The other individual was found at the address deputies responded to and is cooperating with the investigation.
KMPD’s Criminal Investigations Unit took over the case for further investigation and have not charged either subject thus far.
