Lancaster County Parks And Rec Department To Host Second Annual “Rockin’ Stars And Stripes Spectacular”

LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. – The Lancaster County Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the second annual “Rockin’ Stars and Stripes Spectacular” event, celebrating our nation’s independence on July 3, 2024.

The celebration will take place at the Buford Recreation Center, located at 4073 Hurley Walters Rd, Lancaster, S.C. Festivities will begin at 5:30 pm and continue throughout the evening, culminating in a dazzling firework display at 9:30 pm.

Highlights of the event include a live performance by local artist Brayden Phillips, a Buford High School graduate and former American Idol contestant. Attendees can also enjoy a variety of attractions such as food trucks, vendors, face painting, a petting zoo, a kid’s zone, a video gaming trailer, and an EMS cooling station to stay refreshed.

Chris Clouden, Director of Lancaster County Parks and Recreation Department, encourages all residents to join in the celebration: “We are looking forward to offering this event again as we celebrate our country’s independence. There is an exciting program scheduled with something for everyone and we hope to create a memorable experience for all who join us.”

Please note that no pets are allowed at this event. Attendees are encouraged to bring their chairs and blankets for the fireworks show.
