Deputies Arrest Two In East Burke HS Larceny Investigation
BURKE COUNTY, N.C. – The Burke County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 35-year-old Jessie Shull and 35-year-old Telitha Shull as suspects in a larceny investigation of East Burke High School, according to a news release.
The release states that the Sheriff’s Office received a report of larceny from East Burke High School, including multiple items such as tools being stolen from the Agriculture Department.
After an initial investigation, the investigators found items consistent with material stolen in a driveway on East Burke Boulevard in Connelly Springs.
Detectives say they attempted to contact the homeowners and found more items and tools in the yard that belonged to East Burke High School. After receiving and executing a search warrant of the residence, more items were recovered inside the residence and in an outbuilding.
Jessie and Telitha Shull were arrested on the scene and charged with felony possession of stolen property.
Jessie Shull’s bond is $15,000, unsecured. Telitha Shull’s bond is $15,000, secured.
