Police Seize Nearly Seven Pounds Of Various Drugs In Drug Trafficking Arrest
GASTONIA, N.C. – Gaston County Police have arrested 35-year-old Arredondo Arias after an investigation into a drug trafficking organization, according to a news release.
The release states that police conducted a traffic stop of Arias and seized several ounces of heroin, crystal methamphetamine and $2,000 in cash.
Arias’ residence was searched and police say they seized 1.24 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, 1.4 pounds of heroin, 3.15 pounds of fentanyl, 1.2 pounds of marijuana and 1.4 grams of MDMA.
Police charged Arias with trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in heroin/opiates, maintaining a dwelling for trafficking in methamphetamine and heroin, felony possession of marijuana and possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana.
