CHARLOTTE, N.C. – An east Charlotte road is closed due to down power lines caused by a vehicle crashing into a utility pole on Friday afternoon.
Kilborne Driver, which connects to Eastway Drive, between Markham Court and Wicklow Place will remain closed until approximately midnight tonight, CMPD said.
Over 1,000 residents are without power in the area, according to Duke Energy.
Medic said one person was seriously injured in the crash.
