Discussion:
A cold front is moving through the region this morning with some light rain possible over the next few hours. Any clouds will clear with a sunny and hot day ahead as highs reach the mid 90s. The good news is that dew points will drop through the day making it feel a bit more comfortable, and less muggy through the start of the week. By Wednesday, humidity will return ahead of a series of disturbances. This will also lead to chance afternoon storms. Although the severe threat is low, a few stronger storms won’t be out of the question as moisture increases across the area. Heat indices will once again approach the triple digits late in the week with little to no relief in sight through the weekend and the final days of June.
