Forecast:
Tonight: Clouds will decrease through the remainder of the evening. Isolated showers are possible through 10 pm. Lows: Low 70s.

Friday: Mostly sunny. Highs: Low to mid 90s. Widely scattered showers and storms.

Saturday: Mix of sun and clouds. Scattered showers and storms. Highs: Low to mid 90s. Heat indices: 98-102.

Sunday: Scattered showers with heavy downpours possible. Highs: Mid 90s. Heat indices: 100-105.

Tropics:

  • A tropical wave located between Africa and the Windward Islands has a high chance of tropical development over the next 5 days. This will likely become Tropical Storm Beryl over the weekend or early next week.
  • There is also a tropical wave in the western Caribbean Sea / southwestern Gulf of Mexico that is pretty disorganized. We will watch it, but the development chances are low for now. Formation or not, this will not impact us.
