SALISBURY, N. C. — A shooting early Sunday morning left a seven-year-old child dead and another person wounded in Salisbury.
The call for service came in at 4:19 a.m. from 200 Harrel Street. Β Authorities first encountered a 56-year-old with a gunshot wound to his leg, who was then taken to the hospital.
The second victim, a seven-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The names of the victims have not been released and the shooting is under investigation.
