ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. – A toddler’s prognosis is listed as favorable after being found unresponsive in her family’s pool, according to a news release.
The release states that on June 30, a family member found the two-year-old toddler unresponsive in the family pool while they were eating a meal outside. Family members began performing CPR on the child after removing her from the pool and called 911, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
When deputies arrived on the scene, CPR began immediately and eventually the child was transported to a nearby hospital and her prognosis is listed as favorable.
Detectives with the Rowan County Sheriffs Office are investigating the case.
