ODESSA, TX – It was an act of kindness by a police officer that was caught on camera and posted to Facebook that is causing a lot of attention. Corporal Jerry Walsh is the man behind the badge and a good deed. Walsh says that we he was only doing his job when he helped a homeless man by giving him a pair of his boots.
Walsh said that the man in the picture, simply known as A.J., is someone he has come to know during his time on patrol and had noticed for some time now that he had been without shoes. Walsh said that he had a pair of boots that he never wore and figured that A.J. could use them a lot more.
