Charlotte N.C. – On Monday, December 12th, Vi Lyles announced that she is considering running for the mayor of Charlotte.
Lyles has served the Queen City as a City Council Member, Assistant City Manager, and Budget director.
On her campaign website, she mentions that she hopes to bring jobs to the city, especially in areas where unemployment is high, as well as ensure that Charlotte is a city where “everyone is treated with dignity”.
