CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Harper’s Restaurant reluctantly announces that its final day of service at its SouthPark location will be July 20, 2024. The property owners of 6518 Fairview Road will demolish the building, forcing Harper’s to close and search for a new location.
“Along with our team of dedicated and hospitable associates who work with us today and have over the last 37 years in Charlotte, we first and foremost say thank you. We wish we could say this is our decision, but it simply is not. We are working on a new location for a new iteration of
Harper’s, and hope we will be able to share more information soon,” says Tom Sasser, owner of Burke Hospitality Group. Harper’s opened its first Charlotte location in 1987 on Woodlawn Rd. and added the second location on Fairview Rd. in 1992. The Greensboro location at Friendly Center remains open.“We are incredibly thankful to every one of you who has dined with us and hope we can see you again at Harper’s in SouthPark over the next two weeks. I’m grateful that Mimosa Grill, Taco Molino, and Horace’s remain open and ready to give you the Burke Hospitality experience we’ve been known for since 1987,” says Sasser.
