Name Of Victim Released In E. Charlotte Homicide

CHARLOTTE, NC– Tonight we know the name of the victim in Charlotte’s latest homicide.

The body of 19-year-old Israel Williams was found just before nine this morning on Idlewild Road.

Someone saw the body near the fence line by Idlewild Elementary School.  CMPD says it received two calls about shots fired in the area last night.

There’s no word on a suspect in the case.
