Keep The Umbrella Handy This Weekend

AM Headlines:
  • Stalled Cold Front
  • Rounds of Rain and Storms
  • Localized Flooding Threat
  • Cooler than Average Temps
Discussion:
Waking up to patchy fog and some light drizzle this morning. The cold front has stalled across the region and will remain locked over the area through early next week. This means we will see rounds of showers and storms through the weekend with 1-3″+ into early next week. Rain and storm chances will increase each afternoon, although no day in particular will be a  total washout. Highs will remain a bit below average – topping out in the mid to upper 80s, with overnight lows a bit warmer than normal in the low 70s due to the clouds and increased humidity. A series of disturbances will ride along the stalled front bringing more storm chances and the potential for localized flooding.
