UNION COUNTY, N.C. — A woman was found shot and killed inside a car on Belk Mill Road Thursday morning, and authorities say they have taken a man into custody.
Union County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 4200 block of Belk Mill Road, where they found the woman dead inside a red car parked outside a home around 7 a.m.
Authorities say the woman lived nearby, but her name has not been released. A man who lived at the home has been taken into custody, but no charges have been filed.
