Update
CMPD detectives with the Missing Persons Unit found 79-year-old Fred Dunlap dead on Bobby Lane near Wendover Road on July 24, according to a news release.
The release states that 21-year-old Desmond Dunlap was identified as a suspect and was arrested and charged with murder, financial transaction card theft and obtaining property by false pretense.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – CMPD is asking for the public’s assistance in finding missing 79-year-old Fred Dunlap.
Fred Dunlap
Dunlap was last seen at his residence on July 19 on Bobby Lane in Charlotte. He has several medical conditions and does not have the medications required with him.
He is described as a black man, is 5’7″, weighs 120 pounds with white hair and brown eyes. His clothing description is unknown, but could be similar to what he is wearing in the picture above.
