Trump Attacks VP Harris For The First Time Since Biden Dropped Out Of The Race
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – In his first speech since his opponent dropped out of the race, former President Trump wasted no time attacking the new Democratic candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris and her resume.
“Everything Kamala touches turns into a total disaster, she’s destroyed San Francisco with her policies today. It’s not a livable city,” Trump said.
With a sharp tone and a clear message in front of 10,000 supporters, Trump spent the majority of his hour and a half speech attacking Harris on everything from foreign policy to crime to the economy. He invited the President of the National Border Patrol Council, Brandon Judd to co-sign.
“Kamala Harris knows what she needs to do,” Judd said. “I was there, I gave her all of the policies she needed and she refused to implement them. She does not care about you, she does not care about the safety of this country.”
Congressional leaders like North Carolina Representative Richard Hudson from District 9 say Trump can beat Harris on the issues.
“President Trump is going to win this election because the policies of the Biden-Harris administration has made every American less prosperous and less safe and they’re going to punish her for that at the ballot box,” Representative Hudson said.
Trump urged the crowd to take a look at Harris’ record and show up to the polls in November.
“If you want a socialist healthcare nation, wrecking inflation, the death of American energy and lying radical left liberals, San Francisco extremist commander-in-chief, then Kamala Harris is your candidate, she’s the one for you,” Trump said.
Supporters say no matter who Democrats choose for the top of the ticket, they expect Trump to remain consistent on his messages.
“I don’t think either candidate Biden or Kamala is good for the position,” Jeanie Matherly from Oakridge, NC said. “I think he will continue with what he believes and what he says he’s going to do, just like he did when he was in the presidency before.”
Trump says he plans to implement new laws that reduce early voting and cut funding from schools that teach race or gender content that he deems inappropriate. He says he won’t waste time making executive orders.
“On my very first day back in the White House, I will terminate every single open border policy of the Biden-Harris administration and we will seal the border and we will stop Kamala Harris’ invasion without delay it’ll happen immediately,” Trump said.
