LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Police say they arrested a Charlotte man for assaulting and kidnapping a woman he had been dating. Β
Detectives say Christopher Fore, 39, went to a woman’s home in Iron Station after he accused her of having another man at her home. Β Once he arrived at the house the woman asked him to leave. Β That’s when police say Fore broke into the home and assaulted the woman. Β
He then forced her into his vehicle and took her to his mother’s home in Charlotte. Β Police say Fore’s mother finally convinced him to take the woman to a local hospital for help. Β
Allegedly, Fore told the victim to tell hospital officials they were jumped outside a Walmart. Β Once Fore left the hospital, the woman told officials what really happened. Β
Police arrested Fore and charged him with breaking and entering, kidnapping with serious bodily harm, assault with serious injury, larceny and common law robbery. Β
