CMPD Issues Silver Alert For Missing 76-Year-Old Man

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police have issued a Silver Alert for John Benham, 76 who may be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

According to reports, Benham is driving a white 2017 Chevrolet Impala rental car with Maryland plate number 4CM2859, and may be heading to Whytheville, VA. Benham was last seen on Josh Birmingham Parkway and was possibly heading north on I-77.

Benham is described as a white male, 6’2″, 240lbs, short gray hair, and blue eyes.
