Firefighters Hurt, Pets Killed In Mooresville Fire
MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Two firefighters were hurt and several pets were killed in an early-morning house fire in Mooresville.
Around 4:45 a.m., firefighters responded to Indian Springs Drive to battle a single-family home involved in heavy fire. Firefighters worked to extinguish the flames while also searching the residence for occupants.
Nobody was inside during the fire, but several pets were killed, Mooresville Fire said.
One firefighter was treated at the scene while another was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
