The Humane Society of Charlotte Teams Up With Santa Paws & Elves To Deliver A Furry Christmas Surprise

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — A 7-year-old girl gets her first pet on Christmas Day thanks to the Humane Society of Charlotte and Santa Paws & Elves.

Maddie Heiar, 7, had been hoping for a new furry family member, and on Christmas Day her wish came true. The HSC teamed up with Santa Paws & Elves to deliver Maddie a new kitten named Noel.

The groups teamed up this year to deliver adopted pets to local kids on Christmas.

“This is HSC’s first year for offering this very special holiday gift to our adopters, and we hope that they enjoy this and it brings not only joy the day of the delivery, but for years to come”, says Shelly Moore, HSC President/CEO.  “Our goal is to make everyone happy, and our adoption counselors will do their very best to insure it is the best fit.”
