CHARLOTTE, NC — Fans got to tailgate with some of the Panthers Friday night and support a great cause at the same time.
Coach Ron Rivera and his wife Stephanie officially launched their Tailgating Cookbook Friday with a mix and mingle at Mercedes Benz of South Charlotte. A few players stopped by for the fun. The Riveras are thrilled the book will support a cause dear to them.
“The whole idea is to raise awareness, to raise funds, obviously, for the Humane Society of Charlotte,” said Coach Rivera. “I am certainly enjoying trying them right now. The food is outstanding right now!”
The book is filled with recipes from popular Charlotte restaurants and features pictures of the Carolina Panthers. It’s for sale on the Humane Society’s website.
