MONROE, N.C. – The eastbound lanes on U.S. 74 are closed in Union county due to a vehicle collision, according to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
The roadway is closed between Hayes Road and Wesley Chapel Road.
Deputies said it will remain closed for approximately two hours while the investigation continues.
Drivers are asked to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
