Morganton Man Convicted On Meth Trafficking Charges

CATAWBA COUNTY, NC — A Morganton man was sentenced to two active sentences of 7-10 years and fined $200,000 after being found guilty of trafficking more than 300 grams of meth.

Officials say Reginald Curtis, 37, was arrested back in January 2014 after deputies found a shoebox filled with roughly 303 grams of methamphetamine in his rental car.

Curtis was found guilty by a Catawba County jury Thursday.

According to court records, Curtis was previously convicted of trafficking marijuana back in November 2008.
