Monroe Man Wanted For Shooting
MONROE, N.C. – A man is wanted in Monroe after police said he shot another man in the ear, according to the police department.
It happened Wednesday night around 10:20 p.m. on Cherryridge Road. Police said the shooting was the result of an argument between two men acquainted with each other.
A man was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the ear. He is expected to make a full recovery, police said.
The suspect, 43-year-old Frederick Thomas, has warrants out for his arrest for Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury, Common Law Robbery, and Possession of a Firearm by Felon.
