SC Governor Haley Grilled On Capital Hill During Confirmation Meeting

WASHINGTON D.C.– South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley was grilled on Capitol Hill on Wednesday as Donald Trump’s pick to be Ambassador to the United Nations.

During her confirmation hearing, Haley weighed in on a number of issues including moving the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem which could trigger more violence in the Middle East.

She also pledged to stand up against Russia.

Haley also said the U.S. should reconsider its contribution of 22% of the UN’s annual budget, asking if we’re getting what we pay for.
