Police Make Arrest In Five-Month Long Homicide Investigation

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – 37-year-old Terrance McBride was arrested in New York as a suspect for the murder of 31-year-old Darien Morrison on March 17, according to a news release.

The release states that on March 17, CMPD officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon with injury call on Bradford Drive off of Freedom Drive and found Morrison with multiple gunshot wounds.

After an investigation, McBride was identified as a suspect and charged with murder and possession of a firearm by felon.

On August 17, McBride was arrested in New York, N.Y. and is awaiting extradition.
