STATESVILLE, N.C. — An investigation that started in April led to a Statesville man being arrested for possessing child porn, according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say they received a tip on Friday, May 31st from the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children about possible child pornography material being in possession of an individual in Iredell County.
Detective C. James identified the suspect as Robert Taylor, 42, of Statesville. As part of the investigation, a search warrant was executed and evidence gathered led to the arrest of Taylor.

He has been charged with 10 counts of felony 2nd degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Taylor was arrested on August 16th and is currently being held under a $500,000 secured bond.
