Glorious Sunshine Continues
Significant rain chances appear to remain at bay for the next seven days ahead.
Happy Hump Day! Sunny skies and comfy highs in the 60s, 70s, and 80s have greeted us as we head into the back half of the workweek. You’re forgiven if you think we’ve flipped ahead to October, but Mother Nature will steadily remind us August isn’t over yet as highs steadily build into the upper 80s around Charlotte by the end of the weekend. Despite the increasing temperatures, humidity levels and rain chances remain low over the next seven days as a powerful ridge of high pressure sits over the Eastern Seaboard.
Highs should return to the 90s by the start of August’s final full workweek on Monday. Unfortunately, dew points will also rise as moisture begins to surge back into the Southeast. The point: enjoy the next several days while they last! Fall is just 32 days away, but summer won’t go down without a fight. The Atlantic is uncharacteristically quiet, as well – peak season is under a month away.
