Uber Plans To Offer Rides In Self-Driving Cars

You may soon be able to request a self-driving car ride from Uber.

Uber and Cruise have announced a partnership to bring autonomous vehicles to the Uber platform.

Cruise said in a news release it will provide Chevy Bolt self-driving cars to the rideshare giant. The partnership is set to launch next year.

Cruise is currently conducting supervised autonomous vehicle testing with a safety driver in Phoenix, Dallas, and Houston.
