CHARLOTTE, N.C. – After three weeks of preseason play, the Carolina Panthers have determined who will likely be ready for the opening week of the NFL season. Terrace Marshall Jr. was one of the hopefuls fighting for a spot in the competitive wide receiver room who was released. Veteran running back Mike Boone and tight end Jordan Matthews were also among the list of cuts.
Second round draft pick Jonathon Brooks was placed on the reserve/non-football injury list as he continues to recover from a late season injury. D.J Wonnum and Amaré Barno were added to the reserve/physically unable to perform list. See the full list of the pre-week 1 roster here.
