Gang Members Arrested On Multiple Charges
LAWNDALE, NC — Deputies arrested two gang members Tuesday after allegedly breaking into a business on Fallston Road.
Deputies say they responded to a breaking and entering call around 1:20pm and located the suspects still on scene. Jaylan Ross and Javees Camp, who were determined to be ‘validated’ gang members by investigators, had used a 12 gauge shotgun to shoot out a door window to gain entry, according to reports. Deputies say both suspects were under court orders to wear an ankle monitor, but Ross’s had been removed.
Both Ross and Camp are each being charged with Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny, Larceny After Breaking and Entering, Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, and Participation in Criminal Street Gang Activity.
Investigators say Ross and Camp both have a long criminal history.
Records show Ross having charges of Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of a Counterfeit Instrument, Common Law Forgery, Possession of a Firearm by Felon, and Breaking and Entering. Camp’s record included Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle, Assault on a Government Official with a Deadly Weapon, Felony Larceny, Larceny After Breaking and Entering, and Financial Card Theft.
