CHARLOTTE, N.C. – From campus security issues to schools without air conditioning, the first week of school has its challenges. The district’s top brass gave a recap of the first week of classes as over 141,000 students returned back to school around the area. This review detailed teacher vacancies, bus schedules and more issues facing Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools.
