Developing Coastal Disturbance

AM Headlines:
  • Pleasant Thursday
  • Coastal Low
  • Saturday Cold Front
  • Cool, Dry Trend Returns Fast
Discussion:
High pressure continues to have an influence over our forecast Thursday. Clouds will clear leading to some sun this afternoon with highs near 80 and low humidity. A developing coastal low along a stalled boundary will bring shower chances to the forecast Friday evening. Watching especially for areas south and east of I-85. The weekend won’t be a washout however, a cold front will drive through the region Saturday. This will bring more shower chances for the first halfΒ the day, but expect showers to become more isolated once the front passes with drier air pushing back in quickly Saturday night. Refreshing Fall feels return Sunday with mostly sunny skies and highs back in the upper 70s. Temps will regulate back into the low 80s early nextΒ week but humidity will remain low.
