CHARLOTTE, N.C. β Charlotte Craft Beer Week is in preparation for the 2024 season and breweries are joining forces in honoring their close friend and colleague, Dan Wade of Wooden Robot, who was lost in a tragic accident this past March.
A special beer is being brewed in Danβs honor, and proceeds raised from it will be donated to his family. The beer will be sold by most Charlotte breweries, which will be brewed by Town Brewing.
The official release date is Saturday, Oct 18th at 1pm and will include a silent auction, in which 100% of the proceeds will also be donated to Danβs family.

Charlotte Craft Beer Week was started in 2010 as a way to celebrate the rich and diverse beer culture of Charlotte, NC. After a brief hiatus, several of the craft breweries in town decided to bring the event back in 2022. Now in collaboration with the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority, this week has significantly grown to include numerous fun and interactive events for drinkers across the Queen City to enjoy from October 18, 2024 β October 27, 2024.
