Spotty Showers & Storms, But Not A Washout This Weekend

AM Headlines:
  • PM Showers
  • Saturday Cold Front
  • Fall Feels Return Sunday
  • Dry & Pleasant Next Week
Discussion:
Clouds will build in today as high pressure weakens and a disturbance nears the Carolina coast. Temps will climb into the low 80s thisΒ afternoon. Light showers possible tonight south and east of I-85. Showers will continue ahead of a cold front tomorrow morning. This will help to usher out the wet weather, leaving us with the majority of the weekend to enjoy some time outdoors. Highs will reach the low to mid 80s Saturday, before cooler and drier air sweeps in Saturday night when temps fall back into the 50s. Sunday will be a return of that nice Fall feel with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Temps remain cooler and drier than average next week with highs in the low 80s and lows in the mid 50s with minimal rain chances.
