LCI-Lineberger Announces $8 Million Investment in New Production Equipment and New Jobs in Lancaster

Lancaster County, SC – The Lancaster County Economic Development Department announced the expansion of LCI-Lineberger, a leading heavy civil contractor headquartered in Lancaster County.

The expansion involves a substantial investment of approximately $8 million in new production equipment and the creation of at least 10 new jobs at its asphalt facility in the KCH Industrial Park.

The park, already zoned as a heavy industrial parcel, is located on Kershaw-Camden Highway and serves as the home of LCI-Lineberger’s corporate headquarters and construction school. The project is also supported by a state grant.

Founded nearly 30 years ago, LCI-Lineberger currently employs more than 100 people in Lancaster County.

The company is recognized as a leader in road construction and site grading, continuing its legacy of excellence in the industry.

β€œThe success and continued growth of LCI-Lineberger, a woman-owned company, is most definitely something to celebrate,” said Amy Carnes, economic development coordinator. “Kim Lineberger sees the value of not only having her business located in Lancaster County but also the opportunity to expand her business footprint here.”

Kim Lineberger, president of LCI-Lineberger, expressed her gratitude, stating, β€œWe are extremely grateful for the opportunity that God has provided us.

We also want to thank the Lancaster County Council, Lancaster Economic Development, Lancaster Planning and Zoning, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, and First Citizens Bank for their assistance and support in making this expansion a reality.”

This expansion strengthens Lancaster County’s position as a thriving hub for industrial growth and economic development, contributing to both job creation and the community’s overall prosperity.
