MAIDEN N.C. – Police arrested two people on charges related to the possession and sale of cocaine Thursday, September 12th.
Paul Baker, 72, was charged with four counts of Trafficking cocaine, three counts of felony possession of cocaine, and four counts of possession of firearm by felon. Baker was transported to the Catawba County Detention Center under a $750,000 secured bond.
The second suspect arrested was identified as 43-year-old Rebecca Huitron, of Conover . Huitron was charged with felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Huitron was held with no bond in the Catawba County Dention Center.
Following Baker and Huitron’s arrest, officers executed a search warrant on Baker’s 703 EastMain Street, Maiden residence.
