CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Two people died following a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 485 in northeast Charlotte on Saturday morning, according to Medic.
The crash happened on I-485 Inner near Rocky River Road at Exit 36.
Medic said it responded to the crash and pronounced two people dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
The highway is still open, but two of the three lanes are closed at this time, according to the NCDOT. The lanes are expected to reopen around 1:23 p.m.
