Missing Matthews Teen Found Safe

Zayohnna Davis has been found safe after being reported missing in Matthews on Saturday morning.

Matthews police confirmed that Davis was safely located Saturday afternoon.

MATTHEWS, N.C. – Police need your help finding a missing 16-year-old girl that was last seen at a hotel in Matthews, according to the police department.

Zayohnna Harris was last seen at the Microtel Inn on Matthews Mint-Hill Road near East Independence Boulevard. She was wearing a jacket or sweater and black pants when she was last seen.

Harris is approximately 5 feet tall and weighs 140 pounds. She has brown eyes and a brown ponytail with two french braids on each side.

She also has two nose rings, a stud and a hoop, and the word “Tony” tattooed on her inner left wrist.

Anyone that sees Harris or has information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
