Charlotte Murder Suspect Still On FBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted List
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte murder suspect is still wanted by the FBI and CMPD.
Police say Alejandro Castillo and his girlfriend, Ahmia Feaster, along with their co-worker Sandra Le all went missing in August 2016. Further investigation led police to believe that the couple stole Le’s car and took off to Mexico.
The three worked together at a Showmar’s restaurant in Charlotte.
Le’s body was found a few days later in a remote location in Cabarrus County. Castillo has been charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution and murder.
Feaster has been charged with accessory to murder after the fact. She turned herself into Mexican police and was extradited to Charlotte in January 2017. She is currently out of jail on bond. She has a trial date set for August 29, 2019.
The FBI says Castillo was seen crossing into Mexico and may still be there or he may have traveled into El Salvador.
Castillo is considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the FBI at 704-672-6100.
