16 Arrested During Burke County Warrant Round-Up

BURKE COUNTY, NC — Deputies say 16 people were arrested during a warrant round-up operation Wednesday.

According to officials, 21 warrants were served on 16 suspects throughout the county. Charges included breaking and entering, drug possession and distribution, assault, theft, and more.

  • Rodney Brendle, 46, of Connelly Springs, was charged with felony Possession Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture.
  • Kelly Davis, 22, of Catawba County, was charged with misdemeanor Failure to Appear on Misdemeanor Larceny.
  • Willie Davis, 42, of Hickory, was charged with felony Breaking and or Entering and felony Larceny.
  • Telly Dean, 39, of Connelly Springs, was charged with misdemeanor Assault on a Female and misdemeanor Assault and Battery.
  • William Depew, 42, of Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor Failure to Appear on charges of Poss. of Stolen Goods, Poss. of Schedule IV CS and Poss. of Drug Paraphernalia.
  • Joseph Emerson, 29, of Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor Larceny.
  • Jessica Exline, 24, of Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor Larceny.
  • David George, 26, of Morganton, was charged with felony Breaking and or Entering, felony Larceny after Breaking/Entering, and felony Possession Stolen Goods/Property.
  • Donna Hatley, 39, of Connelly Springs, was charged with felony Obtaining Property by False Pretense.
  • Joseph Mosteller, 34, of Morganton, was charged with felony Sell or Deliver Schedule II, felony Poss. Schedule II Substance, and misdemeanor Failure to Appear.
  • Brandon Pendley, 39, of Morganton, was charged with felony Breaking and or Entering, felony Larceny After Breaking/Entering, and felony Poss. of Stolen Goods/Property.
  • Emanuel Rutherford, 35, of Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor Failure to Appear.
  • Connie Shelton, 33, of Hickory, was charged with misdemeanor Failure to Appear, misdemeanor Larceny, misdemeanor Poss. of Stolen Goods/Property.
  • Fred Swink, 53, of Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor Failure to Appear.
  • Kelly Teague, 41, of Hickory, was charged with misdemeanor Probation Violation.
  • Scotty Walker, 45, of Morganton, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor Communicating Threats.
