RALEIGH, N.C. — Today, Governor Roy Cooper’s office launched its very own Snapchat account under the name “ncgovernor”.
Cooper’s spokesan, Ford Porter, spoke on the accounts significance and purpose by stating, “Our office is committed to using different platforms to reach North Carolinians where they are.”
Today, Governor Cooper’s Snapchat followers will be able to see a behind the scenes look at the State of the State address. In the address, Governor Cooper is expected to lay out his priorities and areas of common ground with legislators to move North Carolina forward.
