PERU — Investigators say more than a ton of cocaine, which was branded with a picture of soccer superstar Lionel Messi, was seized in Peru.
The street value of the cocaine is estimated to be $91M. Β The exact weight of the cocaine was 1,417 kilograms (3,123 pounds).
The cocaine was found inside a shipping container. Β No other details have been released at this time. There is no suspicion that Messi was involved in the case.
