CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Stanley Black and Decker is bringing a new operation to southwest Charlotte and adding 250 jobs. The company plans to invest more than $6 million dollars to relocate its power tool manufacturing business to its current facility on Choate Circle.
Mecklenburg County Commissioners approved a grant of up to $115,000 dollars for the company at their Wednesday meeting. The jobs will pay an average of almost $30,000.
