CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A pedestrian has died after being hit by a vehicle on Billy Graham Parkway.
CMPD says officers were Β called to the 4500 block of Billy Graham Parkway on Sunday morning, regarding a person being hit by a car.
The arriving officers located 55-year-old Stacey Negron unresponsive and lying in the road.
Police say NegronΒ was attempting to cross the street in an unmarked area when struck by the vehicle. Β Speed and alcohol are not considered factors in the accident.
The incident is still under investigation.
