SHELBY, N.C. — The sister of the man accused in the Charleston church killings has created a Go Fund Me page.

Amber Roof says she was supposed to get married on June 21st but had to cancel the wedding after her brother allegedly killed nine church members inside the Emanuel AME church three days before the wedding.
She says on the page that canceling the wedding cost her thousands of dollars and she is asking for $5,000 so they can reschedule the wedding.
The post says, “Our wedding day was suppose to be the most important and special day of our lives. Β It was suppose to start our lives together with our new family. Β Our day was the exact opposite. Β Our wedding day was full of sorrow, pain, and shame, tainted by the actions of one man.”
Roof also said she will donate 10% of the money she raises on the Go Fund Me site to the Emanuel AME church.
