Hickory Police Searching For Bank Robbery Suspect

HICKORY, N.C. — Hickory Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with the robbery of a local bank.

According to the Hickory Police, on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at around 10:30 a.m., a man entered the BB&T on Highway 127 South in Hickory and demanded money, while passing a note to the teller. Β The suspect fled on foot after receiving an unspecified amount of money.

The suspect is described being a black male about five feet five inches tall with a thin build. Β He was wearing a long-sleeve grey t-shirt with a stretched collar. The suspect also wore metal or white rimmed sunglasses and a light colored grey flat-billed hat.
