Isolated showers late week - mainly in the Mountains

Flood Warning in effect until 2 AM Wednesday for parts of Mecklenburg and Gaston counties. This is for the Riverside Dr. area.

Tonight: Isolated evening showers. Patchy fog. Lows: Mid 60s.
Wednesday: Morning fog. Partly sunny. Highs in the low 80s.
Thursday: Sunny. Highs in the low 80s.
Friday: Partly sunny. Isolated showers. Highs near 80.
Saturday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the low 80s.
Tropics:
- An area of unorganized showers will move into the Gulf of Mexico later this week. There is a medium chance this develops into a Tropical Depression, but environmental conditions are very different from when Helene developed. We will watch this closely.
- Hurricane Kirk and an area of low pressure off the coast of Africa are all out there, but are no threat to the U.S.
