Forecast:
Tonight: Isolated evening showers possible in the Mountains. Partly cloudy. Lows: Low to mid 60s.

Friday: Patchy morning fog. Partly sunny. Widely scattered showers in the Mountains and Foothills.Highs near 80.

Saturday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the low 80s.

Sunday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the low 80s.

Monday: Sunny. Highs in the low 80s.

Tropics:

  • An area of unorganized showers will move into the Gulf of Mexico later this week. There is a low chance (30%) this develops into a Tropical Depression. Regardless of formation, this will be a Florida rainmaker. This will not head to the Carolinas.
  • Hurricane Kirk is now a major category 4 hurricane. This is no direct threat to the United States, but large swells and high seas are likely off the Carolina coast late this weekend.
  • Tropical Storm Leslie is between Africa and the Lesser Antilles. Leslie is forecast to become a major hurricane, but this will stay out to sea.
